CX: experiences and insights from this vastly underrated industry

I’ve only learned in the past couple of years to truly appreciate the CX industry in which I started in over 20 years ago. It is a tough industry and as many people judge it as a “D” industry, the experiences and people are “A++”. We solve some of the most complex problems (sometimes all at once) for brands we know and love while working together to make it all happen.

Three aspects I’m most grateful for in this vastly underrated industry:

  1. I have had the pleasure working globally with diverse communities and hard-working people. I’ve learned (and continue to learn) about so many cultures, geo-political systems/issues I didn’t learn in school, and have seen the most magical moments with people across all walks of life. “The intense focus on solving problems has given me insight to different business models, product learnings, industry challenges, networks, organizational structures, etc..”
  2. Fortunately, I work across all industries with some of the largest and most unique brands from Startup to fortune500. The intense focus on solving problems has given me insight to different business models, product learnings, industry challenges, networks, organizational structures, etc.
  3. The stories! I’ve met so many fascinating people (which I have now the pleasure to call friends) across the world who have unique and interesting perspectives and stories which now I have the opportunity to share those insights with all of you through my latest podcast, CX&Chill.

Hear the unfiltered details for yourself as you can now be part of my conversations and feel like you’re part of our fun chat. Our first episode, I was lucky enough to have two incredible guests from Warner Bros. Discovery: Patrizio Spagnoletto, the Global CMO of Warner Bros. Discovery Streaming, and Pat Lian, the Vice President of CX at Warner Bros. Discovery. Our guests will share how Marketing and CX work in tandem beautifully.

I hope you enjoy every guest on our CX&Chill podcast as much as I did! My guests will provide you with useful nuggets to take back to your companies and drive wild success in your own organizations.
